Petoo (pronounced as paytu) is about great food and great stories that are built around it.
Petoo is the dream of foodies who are never afraid to use the "F"? word (We hope you were thinking food too!) and whose love for food and years of working in the online food ordering marketplace, saw the need to bring great and consistent Indian food closer to people. We won't however, bore you with the history lessons any further but if you are a foodie and want to make a dent in the world of foodies, we should talk.
Design menu based on inputs from customer surveys/marketing team.
Come up with innovative dishes which fits the business and process model.
Make processes for final presentation/garnishing of dishes at outlets for dine-in and delivery customers.
Research and develop new Indian dishes.
Control costs, research on ingredients to manage margins on dishes
Manage quality control & dish standardisation
Setup systems and processes to produce food at large scale and set up multiple base & commissary kitchen
Provide leadership, guidance and support to the kitchen staff
Consistently monitor feedback/reports on food quality/taste with a view to recommending changes/ updates to improve them
Managing a team of 10-15 kitchen staff members
We are looking for someone with experience in Indian cuisine ONLY. Should have experience in Indian curries (all states of India), Tandoor, Breads, Biryani, Indian dessert etc. Experience with other cuisines please DO NOT apply.
Must have work experience as a Sous Chef for at least 2years.
Graduate in any stream.
Upto 2 years experience as a Sous Chef.
